MARY DOLAHER
Mary Dolaher is Chief Executive Officer of IDG World Expo, recognized worldwide as a leader in exhibition management, producing more than 750 globally branded conferences and events in 55 countries. In this role, she leads IDG World Expo’s broad suite of industry-leading expo events including Macworld, OpenSource World, Next Generation Data Center, CloudWorld and E3 Expo. Additionally, Dolaher facilitates new business development, with a unique focus on creating market-leading events that feature dynamic year-round communities within each industry.
Before joining IDG World Expo in 2006, Dolaher was Senior Vice President at the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), where she planned and managed the video game industry’s annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the world's leading interactive entertainment event. E3 was ranked in the top 25 trade shows in the country, and drew over 70,000 attendees and 400 exhibitors. Prior to her 12 years heading E3, Dolaher was Director of Corporate Communications at IDG, where she managed communications functions for the chairman of the board.
In May, 2009, Dolaher was honored by BtoB’s Media Business magazine as the first-ever “Top Innovator” in Events for her work on E3 Expo, and later in 2009 was included in the publication's list of "Who's Who in Business Publishing". Also in 2009, she was recognized by the Women’s Image Network as its inaugural Interactive Industry Achievement Honoree for her numerous contributions to the video game industry, and was selected as a delegate to the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit. In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Dolaher was named one of the top 25 people in the video game industry by Next Generation Magazine, and was the recipient of American Business Media’s inaugural Gertrude Crain award recognizing the achievements of the country's leading female executives. In addition, she has been named as one of the 100 most influential people in the exhibition business by Tradeshow Week several times, most recently in the top twenty in 2008.
PAUL KENT
Paul Kent, General Manager, Macworld, is a 25 year veteran of the technology industry. Having started his career as a self-taught programmer, he started his own consulting firm in 1984. His company, Mactivity, Inc., went on to host the well regarded Mactivity series of technical conferences and a career in event management was born. Over the year's Kent has contributed to and produced many of the tech industry's groundbreaking events - Interop, InteropDotCom, Mactivity, Mactivity/Web, Mactivity/CEO, Voice on the Net (VON), ProgrammableWorld, Search, SOCKSDevCon, QuickTime Live!, The Mac Networkers Retreat and, of course, Macworld Conference & Expo. A respected leader in the Mac market, Kent has designed the renowned Macworld Conference programs since 1997.
MADELINE KRUZEL
Madeline Kruzel, Vice President and Brand Manager, E3 Expo, is a Certified Meeting Professional with more than 25 years in event and hospitality management. Kruzel is an industry leader, who has contributed to numerous high profile events including the Democratic National Convention, Travel Industry Association of America’s PowWow, the National Education Association convention, the Meeting Professional International-World Education Congress and targeted Emmy and Grammy Award events to name just a few. Most recently, Kruzel served as Vice President, Client Services at LA INC., The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau directing a team of dedicated event professionals in servicing and overseeing events convening in Los Angeles. Kruzel has also served as Director of Events at Universal Studios Hollywood where she oversaw all aspects of special event direction and production from studio premiers and media events to new product launches. Her leadership within the industry includes serving as International Chair of the Meeting Professionals International/MPI Professional Development Strategy Group as well as serving as International Board member of both MPI’s Research Committee and Brand Marketing Committee. Kruzel is a member of Meeting Professionals International and the International Association of Exhibitions & Events.
MELISSA MESSIER
Melissa Messier, Vice President, Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing and branding efforts for the E3 Business & Media Summit as well as E for All. Prior to joining IDG World Expo, Messier spent seven years spearheading the marketing efforts for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Before joining the E3 team, she was the marketing manger for Radius, a product design and development firm.
DONNA MOSCHELLA
Donna Moschella, Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, is responsible for IDG World Expo's finance/accounting, information technology, facilities planning/management, and legal affairs. Moschella joined IDG World Expo in 1998 as Finance Director and was appointed to Vice President Finance & Administration in 2002. Prior to joining IDG World Expo, Moschella held various financial positions at International Data Group, the parent company of IDG World Expo. Moschella has over 20 years experience in the finance/accounting field.
CAROLYN RAUCH
Carolyn Rauch, Senior Vice President, Strategic Communication & Event Development is responsible for strategic planning, development, and positioning of World Expo events. Rauch brings more than 20 years of experience to her position. She served as Senior Vice President of the Entertainment Software Association where she managed the association's new E3 Media & Business Summit. Previously, Rauch was a vice president at Robinson Lake Sawyer Miller, a strategic communications firm specializing in the entertainment industry, her clients included MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comcast. Rauch has also served as deputy national press secretary to U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey's 1992 presidential campaign, deputy press secretary to former U.S. Senator and Senate Budget Committee Chairman Jim Sasser, and New Hampshire press secretary for former Governor Bruce Babbitt's 1988 presidential campaign.
LINSY REESE
Linsy Reese, Vice President, Marketing, is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies for IDG World Expo’s events, including Macworld, OpenSource World, Next Generation Data Center and CloudWorld. With over 15 years of event experience, Reese spent seven years at CMP Media working on electronics industry events, including the Embedded Systems Conference. Previously, she spent eight years at the American Academy of Ophthalmology marketing their annual meeting, one of the top five largest medical meetings in the U.S.
