CMO, Sourcefire.
Since March 2004, Michele Perry has been the CMO of Sourcefire (Nasdaq: FIRE), a fast growing network security provider and open source innovator based in Columbia, Maryland. A 20 year marketing executive, Michele is responsible for overseeing all Sourcefire product management and marketing functions including branding and demand creation worldwide to ensure the growth of the company's customer base as well as the expansion of the SnortŪ open source community.
Previously, Michele held senior marketing and management positions at USinternetworking, Software AG and IBM, as well as operating her own strategic marketing and business development consultancy, MPB Strategies, which specialized in providing consulting and strategy services to fast growing companies.
Michele holds a BS from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is on the board of the UMBC Research Park Corporation and the Technology Marketing Alliance.
