Andrew Aitken - Founder and Managing Partner, Olliance Group
Andrew Aitken is the Founder and Managing Partner of Olliance Group, the leading open source management consultancy. He is a recognized expert on the commercialization of open source. Andrew has over 18 years senior management experience in building and leading national professional services firms, including Renaissance Worldwide and eWork. In 2001 Andrew founded Olliance Group with other industry veterans to provide management and business strategy consulting to companies leveraging open source. Andrew has Chaired and spoken internationally at multiple industry and government conferences on the topic of open source and has participated as an expert witness on the issues of open source and e-voting to the California Senate. Andrew is on the Board of Directors of the Open Source Software Institute and the SDForum, and is Chair of their annual Open Source Conference. In January 2006, Andrew was primarily responsible for launching the software industry’s first ever annual “think tank” on the future of commercial open source. He is on the Board of Advisors of SugarCRM, Funambol and Krugle, and has personally advised firms such as; Sun, Intel, Nokia, and dozens of VCs and startups on their open source strategies.

Larry Augustin -  Investor and Advisor
Larry Augustin is an angel investor and advisor to early stage technology companies.   He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Fonality, Hyperic, Medsphere, OSDL, Pentaho, SugarCRM, VA Software (NASDAQ: LNUX), and XenSource.   One of the group who coined the term "Open Source", he has written and spoken extensively on Open Source worldwide.   Worth Magazine named him to their list of the Top 50 CEOs in 2000.   From 2002 to 2004 he was a Venture Partner at Azure Capital Partners.   In 1993 he founded VA Linux (now VA Software), where he served as CEO until August 2002 and led the company through an IPO in 1999.   Larry can be found online at http://lmaugustin.com.


Bill Hilf - General Manager of Platform Strategy, Microsoft
Bill Hilf is the General Manager of Platform Strategy driving Microsoft's platform strategy efforts across the company. Bill’s primary focus is to champion platform initiatives that cross these groups, while leading long-term strategy planning in the Windows Server and Tools organization.  Prior to joining Microsoft, Bill led IBM's Linux/Open Source Software technical strategy at a world-wide level for the Emerging and Competitive markets organization, in addition to his direct customer interaction as a senior enterprise architect. Bill has been involved with Open Source Software (OSS) for over twelve years, and is an IEEE Distinguished Visitor on the subject of OSS.  Prior to joining IBM, Bill was Vice President of Engineering for eToys, where he helped build one of the premier ecommerce businesses on the Web.  Previously, he worked as a software architect for multiple Silicon Valley-based software companies, such as CNET Networks and Black Sun Interactive.  Bill is a graduate of Chapman University Graduate School.

Tim Golden - Senior Vice President, Bank of America
Tim Golden has over 8 years senior management experience designing and implementing major IT infrastructure projects both as a consultant working for IBM and currently as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America. His technical background is extremely diverse and ranges from software development to data center operations. Recently, Tim has worked exclusively with Linux and open source software and has led several multi-million dollar solution architecture, risk management, and infrastructure lifecycle management initiatives. Tim is also affiliated with several Community-based organizations, provides consultation to industry financial analysts, speaks regularly at software conferences, and works independently as an Olliance Group senior consultant.

Mark Radcliffe -  Partner, DLA Piper US LLP
Mark Radcliffe is a partner with DLA Piper US LLP.  Mr. Radcliffe’s practice focuses on representing corporations in their intellectual property and finance matters.  He has extensive experience assisting companies in the identification, protection, and exploitation of their intellectual property both domestically and internationally.  Mr. Radcliffe is a recognized expert on legal issues in new media and Internet. In 1997, the National Law Journal named him one of the 100 Most Influential Lawyers in the United States. He is co author of Internet Law and Business Handbook and Internet Legal Forms for Business from Ladera Press.  Mr. Radcliffe is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, 2005-2006 edition, the 2006 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business ranking first in California for IT and IT outsourcing.  Mr. Radcliffe is also named in the 2003 Expert Guide – The World’s Leading Trademark Lawyers; the 2002 Who’s Who Legal publication The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers; and in the 1999 Law Business publication An International Who’s Who of Internet and e-Commerce Lawyers. 

Robin Vasan  - Managing Director, Mayfield
Robin Vasan's clear understanding of software technology served him well in his early career as an entrepreneur. He has since built a solid reputation as a leader through his successful investments in enterprise software, particularly in applications and infrastructure. Most recently he has been focusing on virtualization, security and open source technologies. Robin's notable past investments include Akimbi (acquired by VMware), webMethods, Riverbed Systems (acquired by Aether Systems), Global Logistics (acquired by Oracle) and Trigo Technologies (acquired by IBM). Prior to joining Mayfield in 1999, Robin was a founder and/or key member of several successful software startups including CATS Software, Infinity Financial Technology, acquired by SunGard (SDS) and Risk Management Solutions. Robin earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A.S. dual degree in industrial engineering and economics from Stanford University.

Zack Urlocker  -  Executive Vice President, MySQL

As executive vice president of products, Zack Urlocker oversees the definition, development and promotion of the company's entire family of open source databases and tools. In addition to software engineering and product management, he is responsible for MySQL's worldwide marketing, sales-lead generation, public relations and Web site. Zack is a veteran technology executive, with more than 17 years' enterprise software industry experience. Prior to joining MySQL AB, Zack held executive product management and marketing positions at Active Software, webMethods and Borland International.
